Bonifacio Day is a national public holiday in the Philippines celebrated annually on November 30 to honor the birth of Andrés Bonifacio, the "Father of the Philippine Revolution". As founder of the Katipunan (KKK), he led the 1896 armed revolt against Spanish colonial rule.
